WHO MADE THE OIL? The oil is made by the family-run business Goccia Umbra- owned by the Micheletti’s family-, located in Castel Giorgio, nestled in the hills of Orvieto (Umbria, Italy). The family has been producing and selling high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil products since 1988. TASTING NOTES Goccia Umbra’s EVO oil has a delicate and fruity taste, that makes it perfect to season dishes. It’s slightly spicy and has a light but intense scent of olive leaves. REGION: Umbria, the olive land since the Etruscan’s. CULTIVARS: Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino, the most typical of Central Italy.
FOOD PAIRING: This olive oil is too nice to cook with, use in it’s natural state, drizzled and dipped with a nice piece of crusty bread, roasted vegetables, fish and meat. Great with pasta, bread and fish.
