Italian soul, Yorkshire heart - At Devour, we honour tradition, provenance, and craft, but we’re not afraid to push boundaries. With an AA Rosette background, Head Chef Carl Frost has an incredible ability to honour the authenticity of classic Italian cuisine while giving it a fresh perspective. He takes the foundations of tradition - time-honoured techniques, impeccable ingredients, and the soul of Italian cooking - and transforms them into dishes that are innovative, bold, and contemporary.

Backed by an incredibly talented team, every plate is crafted with passion, from creative antipasti and handmade pasta to rustic slow-cooked feasts, our food is all about bringing people together, telling a story, and celebrating the joy of eating - without taking itself too seriously.

Meet the winemaker

Explore the Tuscan wine region, one glass at a time and in a relaxed yet refined setting.
Join us in the bar for an informal meet-and-taste with Marco Zingarell from Rocca della Macìe.
This is not a presentation or guided tasting. Instead, it’s an opportunity to meet the producer, talk terroir, vintages, and winemaking philosophy, and enjoy a complimentary taste while exploring the wines at your own pace.
Expect thoughtful conversation, nuanced flavours, and the kind of insight that only comes from speaking directly with the person behind the bottle. For those who wish to take the experience further, bottles will be available to purchase and take home.
You’re also welcome to stay for dinner, where the evening can continue with a carefully considered wine flight, or simply a glass or bottle selected to complement your meal.
Whether you drop in for a brief taste or spend the evening immersed in conversation and flavour, this is an experience designed for those who appreciate craftsmanship, authenticity, and wines with a sense of place.

Afternoon tea

Indulge in the timeless tradition of afternoon tea, reimagined with a Devour twist and a touch of regional Italian flavour. Sip on Italian Franciacorta sparkling wine (the French call it Champagne!) and enjoy a spread of handmade delicacies crafted for the perfect birthday treat, celebration, or a long-overdue catch-up.
We kindly ask for 48 hours’ notice when booking, as we prepare everything fresh. Unfortunately, bookings without this notice cannot be accepted. Please note, we currently do not offer a gluten-free Afternoon Tea. Let us know about any allergies when booking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
