From a dream to reality
Devour began with a passion for a truly special building and a seemingly bold idea: to bring authentic Italian cuisine to life in an unconventional way. The Dyehouse, with its charming riverside setting and historic wooden beams, captivated us from the start. It seemed to call out for revival, and we envisioned a space filled with warmth and character, much like the hidden trattorias you stumble upon in Italy’s narrow, cobblestone streets.
Our aim was to capture that unique atmosphere, where the simple meets the extraordinary. At Devour, you’ll find a blend of tradition and innovation — every dish tells a story, and every detail is crafted with care. It’s our way of celebrating the rich flavours, aromas, and textures that make Italian cuisine so special, while also adding our own twist, inspired by the best local produce from Yorkshire.

We are dedicated to offering an Italian dining experience that combines the finest local ingredients with carefully selected Italian imports, whether it’s our fresh handmade pasta, wood-fired pizzas, or our signature desserts.
Winning OpenTable’s Diners’ Choice Award 2024 for one of West Yorkshire’s restaurants with ‘Best Ambience’ is particularly meaningful to us.
