We run a small open kitchen & we strive to give the best experience to all our guests so we are currently only accepting a maximum of 8 people per booking (we do not split bookings over multiple tables) but happy to accomodate 8+ at non peak times. Our non peak times are a Wednesday and Thursday early evening.
What is your no-show & cancellation policy?
We have now updated both our Cancellation and No Show Nellie policies for clarity: Firstly we ask to allow a minimum of 6 hours notice, if possible, of cancellation from the time of your booking (we had to draw a line somewhere) – so basically if you can’t make a reservation, and let’s face it, there will always be genuine reasons why people can’t honour a booking. plans change and that’s cool. Simply call us, leave a voicemail, send a quick email or slide into our DM’s on social, 6 hours prior to your booking and everything will be dandy! Secondly, our new booking system Open Table will now require and take payment card details to secure any booking at Devour. No amount will be taken at this time, card details are simply stored safely & securely on the open table network. In the case of a No Show Nellie scenario with no communication, a late discretionary cancellation fee will be applied at £10 per person per booking.
