Willow Weaving Workshop & Lunch 4/4/25

Joe Gregory from Creative with Nature has been teaching willow basketry and sculpture for over 15 years. She brings her expertise to individuals and groups across the UK and internationally, working with a variety of larger organizations, including the RHS.

In this full-day workshop, participants will learn to weave a useful and stylish foraging bag, exploring several basket weaving techniques along the way. Designed with a simple border and an organic hemp strap, this basket is quicker and easier to make than a traditional shopping basket, yet equally beautiful and functional.

Perfect for foraging mushrooms, herbs, and berries, this handsomely crafted basket is a practical addition to any outing! Joe has carefully developed this project, ensuring it’s both achievable in a day and something you’ll be proud to take home. Alongside the weaving, participants will also create their own strap, complete with organic hemp and brass fittings.

This course is suitable for beginners and those with some basketry experience.
